There are many key components to a successful overhead press. From the initial clean of the implement, the leg drive, and then finishing with a strong lockout.
Unfortunately the last of these is often overlooked and this can then lead to a higher chance of missing a rep at the last hurdle.
Check out this new video where Ken Nowicki (@knstrongman) goes over three of his favorite exercises for building some killer lockout strength and get on the road to some new PRs!
Don't Take Our Word For it! Here's What Top Athletes Say:
Whether I'm competing at WSM or I'm on the platform at a Powerlifting meet, I need to be able to rely on my equipment 100%. In the gym training or on the world stage, Cerberus never lets me down.
When I train, I train hard and with extreme intensity. I choose Cerberus because their products can withstand the beating I put both them and my body through and hold up through the elements I encounter when training outside.
In strength sports, the name on your gear becomes your shield. In one sense you have to trust it to protect your body, in another sense it has to protect your reputation. I stake my health and my name on Cerberus Strength. Everyday.
